SPLATTER Paint Matcher

In SPLATTER, a Seeker spots you when your body color diverges from the wall behind you — even a small hue shift reads as movement. During prep time you must eyedropper, adjust HSV, and freeze before the clock ends. A paint matcher lets you rehearse those decisions without wasting a ranked round.

Use the interactive panel below to pick a target surface color and compare your planned paint hex against SPLATTER-inspired swatches from museum stone, gallery white, carpet red, and outdoor concrete. High contrast scores mean easier detection — aim for low contrast against your chosen hide surface.

Low contrast (good for Hiders): Your paint color sits close to the surface swatch on the luminance scale. Museum off-white on gallery plaster is a classic KNIVES & MUSEUM pairing.

High contrast (risky): Neon accents, oversaturated greens on brown wood, or shadow colors sampled from the wrong wall height. Seekers sweeping with peripheral vision catch these first.

Common SPLATTER map families after BETA BETA 1.2 include museum galleries (neutral stone and frame gold), indoor carpet (deep red and navy), and outdoor concrete (cool gray). The matcher includes preset swatches modeled on these families — not extracted from copyrighted assets, but tuned for practice.
